“A CHILD OF THE GRANITE OUTCROPS”

- Medium: Watercolour on artists 300gsm paper
- Size: 29 X 42 CM
Description:
Far from the hum of city streets and the rigid geometry of suburbia, my childhood unfolded in a landscape shaped by ancient forces—rolling fields interrupted by the steadfast embrace of granite outcrops. These natural sculptures, weathered and patient, rose from the earth like old friends, their solid presence inviting me to pause, to wonder, and above all, to play. Among sun-warmed stone and whispering grasses, we grew up wild and carefree, our laughter ringing across the open fields like the call of a distant bird, mingling with the voices of my friends.
How I treasure those days and thank God that I missed the craziness poor kids are subjected to today.
Give me an area like this over a cell phone every single day of every single week.
