Every time I am stupid enough to watch the news or look at my phone these days, I am totally blown away by how absolutely crazy this poor world of ours is becoming.
It takes a walk through the msasas and rocks in the garden with the dogs to try and restore some sanity to my troubled mind. Sadly, there are even times lately when even that is not enough.
I find that putting scenes together like this have a calming effect on me, but just one trip outside this beautiful bubble we have built for ourselves is all it takes for the dark world to creep back in.
So, this scene represents my happy place in life. It is still surrounded by turmoil and strife, but if I close my eyes and block my ears tightly enough, I can almost pretend life is as simple as it was when I was a child growing up in country just like this.
Life just seemed so much simpler then.
