Laura and I took a drive a while back while the msasas were in all their new leaf splendour. It was one of those years when the colours were particularly vivid. The sandy road meandered through them and the lichen-covered granite rocks as if routed to show only the most spectacular scenes.
We stopped often to take photos and we both found this particular scene breathtaking. We stopped here for a coffee and snack, and both agreed that even with all the hardships Zim is facing at the moment, there is absolutely nowhere we would rather be living.
We both hope this painting brings back wonderful memories for all of you.
