Scenes like this are so familiar to me now as I ride my bike around the country on Sundays, ever on the lookout for new reference material to use in my paintings.Old dreams and lives left behind by so many special people in so many special places.The memories and stories remain though and live on in poignant scenes such as these. Left so often, to be told by old friends and special places.Scenes fewer and fewer see now, scenes that grow older and more tired with each passing year, scenes that I feel incredibly blessed to still be able to tell and to share.Scenes that above all help keep alive within us that love we all felt for this amazing land that was once and perhaps still is our home.
